Ventura Pottery Gallery artist
Sue Barry has been exploring clay for over twenty years. Growing up in New Zealand gave her a love of nature. The ocean, mountains, her gardens, light and reflection are her inspiration for her intricate decorative tiles and unique sculptural bowls which combine watery transparency, beautiful colors, carvings, textures and shadows.

Sue will be demonstrating pressing clay into sprig molds and adhering these to tiles. There will be an opportunity for children / adults to try this technique and create some koi fish. Her work will be displayed outside the gallery as well.
